Spanish Italian Rice
Ingredients
1 box Rice-A-Roni brand Spanish Rice
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef or chuck
1/2 cup Ragu (flavor optional)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
*Optional sliced green pepper, mushrooms Preparation Instructions
Prepare the rice as directed on box, let simmer. In another pan, brown
the ground beef, drain. Add to spanish rice mixture. Stir in Ragu, if you
want it saucy add enough to liking; mix well. Stir in cheddar cheese, then
stir in the mozzarella cheese. Serve with garlic bread or bread sticks.
This is especially great on a cold day, and excellent if any is left over
for the next day!!
