Potato ham surprise

Ingredients

1 large package (30-32 Oz) frozen grated hash browns
1 pint sour cream
1 pint cottage cheese
1 Large onion chopped fine or 2 med ones
2 tsp(or more) chopped garlic
2 to 3 cups cubed ham (Also good with cooked,drained sausage if you don't have left over ham.)
1 to 2 cups grated sharp chedder cheese.
Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation Instructions

Mix all ingredients except the cheese. Put in 9 x 13 pan that has been sprayed with non stick spray. Sprinkle on the cheese and bake at 350 for 45 min to 1 hour. You can add crumbs with the cheese but we prefer it without. This is my own variation of an old recipe for Potatoes Romanoff with several variations from the original.
